I am a Christian who loves living a life for God, a mommy to six amazing and beautiful children and I am an incomplete quadriplegic. No, that isn’t a disease – it means that I am paralyzed and it affects my arms and my legs. You can read “My Story” and find out more about all of that!

Bad Cripple

Paralyzed since I was 18 years old, I have spent much of the last 30 years thinking about the reasons why the social life of crippled people is so different from those who ambulate on two feet. After reading about the so called Ashley Treatment I decided it was time to write a book about my life as a crippled man.

Hi, I’m Daniela, affectionately called Dani. 🙂 I live in rural Virginia with my husband, Rudy, and our twins. As a disabled woman, I hope this website will be a place where I can share not only my personal journey as it relates to being a wheelchair user and mother, but other voices of the disability community as well.

We created www.disabledmagazine.online with the desire to provide more information about people with disabilities around the world. We wanted to give everyone the opportunity to get inspiration from the stories of others, to gather information about everything that means disability.

Emmielynn

Hey guys I’m Emmielynn! Since my car accident in 2011 that left me quadriplegic, I’ve wanted to find a way to express myself while teaching others about my disability. I decided to start a YouTube channel with putting my story out there with the hopes of raising awareness of spinal cord injuries.

Joci Scott

Joci Scott is a recent graduate of Ohio State University. In July 2019, she sustained a spinal cord injury as a result of a plane crash. She spent months rehabbing and fighting to walk again. She knew she didn't want to be "the girl from the plane crash" so she created a new identity in her wheelchair, while incorporating things that she loves like performing, spending time outdoors, traveling, and exploring the world with her friends.
